Rush Named Street Superintendent

On March 26, 2019, the Hiring Committee for the City of Black River Falls named Greg Rush as the new Street Superintendent for the City Street Department.  Rush has been employed with the Black River Falls Street Department since 2000.  Greg served as the department’s mechanic for 10 years and as a general laborer for the past 8 years.  He is a lifelong resident of Black River Falls and has extensive knowledge of the city’s infrastructure as well as Street Department operational and capital improvement needs.  Rush has built good working relationships with local contractors, Jackson County, and has been involved with projects at the state level.   The City’s Hiring Committee received 5 applications and interviewed 3 candidates for the position.  Rush will begin his tenure as Street Superintendent for the City of Black River Falls Street Department on April 1, 2019.
