On December 29, 2018 at around noon the Black River Falls Police Department executed a search warrant at 119 South 3rd Street Apartment 2 in the City of Black River Falls to locate evidence of a substantial battery incident that is reported to have occurred in the early morning hours on that day. During the search of the residence several items pertaining to the battery complaint were seized. There was also a significant amount of drug paraphernalia, drug packaging material, and some methamphetamine. Kelsey M. Jensen and Brendan D. Gerber, both of Black River Falls, were arrested and referred to the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office for charges including:

Substantial Battery, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, Child Neglect, and Possession of Illegally Obtained Prescriptions
Kelsey M. Jensen, 24 years old of Black River Falls:
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, Child Neglect, and Possession of Illegally Obtained Prescriptions
The police department was assisted by the Ho Chunk Nation Police, Conservation Wardens of the Wisconsin DNR, and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. As always, the police department appreciates the support of local and state agencies in making the community a safer place.
Officers located numerous syringes and drug paraphernalia in a common basement area of this residence. The police department encourages landlords to check their properties and secure doors as needed to prevent this type of activity. If this if found, please report it immediately to law enforcement.
