We Energies is beginning a controlled flaring operation at its natural gas regulator station on West Bauer Road in Black River Falls today (10.17.2025). While this work takes place, Industrial Park businesses and nearby residents may notice a flame in the air, a loud hissing or blowing noise and a faint burning odor. The work is expected to be completed by October 24th.
