Water Trails of the Driftless Airs: 05/13/2017 – 05/14/2017
Bust out your paddles and scuba gear: Discover Wisconsin is kayaking, canoeing and “cannonballing” their way through west central Wisconsin. First, they discover the waterways of the La Crosse area by kayak, pontoon and airboat. Heading north to rural Trempealeau County, Mariah takes in a stunning view of the Mississippi River from Perrot State Park. In Buffalo County, she kicks things up a notch by attempting barrel racing but slows things down at Danzinger Winery, Merrick State Park and a farm-to-fork hidden gem along the river. The show comes to a close in Black River Falls, home to Wisconsin’s deepest lake and the endangered Karner blue butterfly. If you’re all about that H2O, this episode is for you.
